Transformational Psychotherapy & Unconscious Change-Work

Psychotherapy is a process of change-work. Everyone who comes to my office wants something to shift—whether it’s less of something painful (anxiety, sadness, doubt) or more of something nourishing (peace, confidence, trust).

I deeply believe in your ability to change. Human beings are in a constant state of renewal—our bodies replace their cells every few years, our skin sheds, our thoughts evolve. Change is not something we force; it’s part of our nature. My role is to help you navigate that change safely and effectively—to guide you through the process of releasing what no longer serves you and reclaiming what does.

True transformation happens not by talking about our struggles, but by connecting to the unconscious parts of the mind—the emotional and energetic blueprints that silently shape our lives. These are the parts that carry our earliest memories, learned beliefs, and protective patterns. When we bring awareness and compassion to these inner layers, healing happens naturally.

An Integrative and Holistic Approach

My work combines a wide range of therapeutic modalities from focusing on mind, body, and spirit. Depending on your needs, we may draw from:

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Somatic Techniques to release stored trauma.
  • Hypnotherapy to access and reframe unconscious patterns, and release trauma that is inaccessible in conscious state.
  • Radical Self-Acceptance Therapy (RSAT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to repair inner-attachment wounds and self-abandonment.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to strengthen awareness of thought patterns.
  • HeartMath Therapy and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) to regulate the nervous system and increase emotional coherence.
  • Mindfulness and Buddhist Psychotherapy to cultivate presence and compassion.
  • Life Coaching and practical skill-building to support integration in daily life.

Each session is uniquely tailored. There’s no formula—only attunement to what your system needs most in the moment. My approach is both intuitive and evidence-based, designed to meet you where you are and guide you toward where you most want to be.

Working with the Unconscious

Think of the unconscious as the deeper current beneath the surface of the mind. It stores everything—your early experiences, emotional imprints, and the beliefs you formed about yourself and the world. These unconscious programs often continue to run our lives long after we’ve outgrown them.

When we experience trauma—whether something big like abuse or something subtle like rejection—the emotional charge freezes in the nervous system. Without realizing it, we begin to organize our behaviors, relationships, and even identities around that wound to prevent it from happening again. For instance, one painful childhood moment of exclusion can later turn into a belief of being unworthy of love, driving patterns of perfectionism, people-pleasing, or emotional withdrawal.

Through methods like hypnotherapy, EMDR, and guided somatic inquiry, we can revisit and release these frozen moments—not by reliving them, but by completing the emotions that were once interrupted. When the emotion completes, the protective pattern dissolves. What remains is clarity, strength, and compassion.

The Process of Change

Our work together will move fluidly between two core processes:

  1. Increasing internal resources – building on your natural strengths and resilience.

  2. Decreasing problematic patterns – releasing the unconscious programs that keep you stuck.

Releasing these internal “boulders” clears the path for your life to move forward naturally. Change doesn’t have to be hard—it becomes a process of alignment, not struggle.

Through Our Work Together, You Will Learn To:

  • Let go of old beliefs and habits that no longer fit.

  • Calm your nervous system and respond rather than react.

  • Develop mindfulness and emotional regulation.

  • Create authentic, connected relationships.

  • Heal trauma and release shame, fear, and guilt.

  • Discover your inner strengths and intuition.

  • Reconnect with your authentic self and purpose.

  • Experience more ease, flow, and joy in your daily life.

Beginning the Journey

During our sessions—either in person or online—we’ll begin by clarifying the change you’re ready to create. You might start by asking yourself:

  • What do I want to feel more of in my life?

  • What patterns am I ready to release?

  • What do I want my relationship with myself to feel like?

  • How would my life look if I were living from my whole, authentic self?

Our work is collaborative, grounded in compassion and curiosity. My role is to be your guide and ally—to challenge you gently, support you fully, and help you remember what you’ve always known deep down: you already have everything you need to heal.

It would be my honor to guide you through this powerful, transformative process of healing and creating a life filled with meaning, freedom, and joy.
